Howard County Charitable Projects (a non-profit organization) has started The County Store & The Store Next Door so that residents of Howard County have another low cost retail option.

The old City Hall building is now home to a new charitable organization. Your gently used donated items will benefit Howard County organizations and communities within the county.

At this time we are accepting donations that are useful to others at the small garage door at the old city hall (north side on 3rd Ave).

  • Accepting:  Clothing, Furniture, Household Items, Nick-Knacks, Pictures, Small Electronics, Tools, Books, etc.
  • We do not accept:  TV’s, computers, paints or other household hazardous waste and non-working items.

For yours and the community’s safety and in order to keep the store clean & neat, cameras will be installed to prevent illegal drop offs. Thank you for your support!
