The mission of the Cresco Saddle Club is to provide and maintain an arena for equine related activities for adult and youth enjoyment and learning.

Who are we?

  • We are a non-profit organization
  • Every year we make a financial contribution to Great Strides. This group provides therapeutic riding for handicapped youth.
  • We maintain a trail at Cardinal Marsh for trail rides during the summer
  • Our arena is open to 4-H and Saddle Club members to ride and practice throughout the summer.
  • The Cresco Saddle Club has hosted an open show on the 4th of July for many years. This has been a great opportunity for our 4-H members to experience competition at a level above the county fair.
  • The Saddle Club members see the need to provide an arena and the activities that enhance youth learning and equine related activities that instill growth and leadership.

Meeting times and places

  • The first Thursday of the month at 7:30pm.
  • Meet at the Cresco Saddle Club Arena during good weather and at the Cresco Public Library when it’s not.

Annual dues is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family
