Echo Valley is located north of LIme Springs 4 miles and 2 miles east on State Line Road. The Lime Springs Saddle Club owns 20 acres of arena, pavilion, and room for camping.

Activities

  • Pony Express – we conduct a ‘Pony Express Ride’ on Good Friday each year, starting at the state line going towards Lourdes. Donations from businesses and individuals are collected to benefit Camp Sunnyside in Des Moines. The camp offers recreational opportunities for children and adults with disabilities.
  • Parades – we usually ride in four parades each summer; Chester, Cherry Grove, Harmony, and Lime Springs
  • Fun Shows – this is a great time for everyone, contestants, and spectators! Have fun with your horse running barrels, poles or the challenging egg and spoon event, among others.
  • Trail Rides – we have permission from some local land owners to ride on their beautiful property which includes crossing the Upper Iowa River.
  • Our club is very active we hold fun shows and set up designated weekends for riding. A family membership is only twenty-five dollars per year. With that you will be able to ride on the trails that are available,camp, and utilize the arena. Also with the yearly dues you will receive a monthly newsletter.
