    Dale’s Place is a fully furnished two-bedroom, one bathroom ranch house. Accommodations await you for a night, a week or a longer stay! Whether you stay with us for a vacation, for a family gathering, a hunting trip, a short-term work assignment, Snowfest, The MIGHTY Howard County Fair, or any other reason that brings you to our area, you will find the property is equipped with everything you need.This house is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath. Each bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a small office which could accommodate an air mattress or pack and play crib (which is there for you). There is a sectional couch with recliners on the end. Outside there is also a grill and fire pit. It also includes private parking, Wi-Fi, full kitchen with dishwasher, air fryer, and ice maker. There is a washer and dryer on site.

    NO Pets allowed and No Smoking indoors.
    Guests have access to the entire upstairs and yard. No access to the basement or garage.

  • Elwood on Elm (Bed & Breakfast)
    Elwood on Elm has the original charm from 1920 restored with a modern Twist. The esteemed Elwoods lived here from 1962 -2021 being only the 2nd owners of the home. The beautiful brick house has been one of the favorites on Elm Street, most commonly known for its apples at Halloween. This eclectic B&B has rooms and suites available.

  • Tailwind Cottage (Airbnb)
    A rural farm-stay retreat, located on a drowsy country lane! Our property includes flower gardens and an event barn. There are plenty of day adventures throughout the area, although we won’t blame you if you don't want to leave!
    We flipped our garage into this cozy guesthouse with vintage, earthy, Bohemian vibes. You'll find good coffee and special touches here. Eat al fresco in the Binzebo or meditate amongst flowers! Be still - you might hear sandhill cranes, owls, pheasants or coyotes. We turned our garage into a cottage for guests to enjoy, mixing a few elements of vintage with new construction. We retained vaulted ceilings to keep the small space feeling large. It's quiet and peaceful, but you might hear the occasional country sound such as our chickens or neighbor's cattle. We find the unit cozy in the winter with radiant in-floor heating. It has a mini split for cooling along with a large ceiling fan.
    This listing sleeps 4, but please note that the second bed is in a small loft. There's a ladder made from piping. The rungs are 14 inches apart. This ladder is required to climb to reach the second bed. There is not standing room in the loft. It is not suitable for small children or those who have a hard time maneuvering. Tailwind Cottage is open floor plan with a flexible downstairs area featuring a Murphy bed. We will have the bed down and made up for your arrival.
    The area has a small kitchen table seating two. We encourage you to eat outside al fresco either spreading out on the lawn or in our Binzebo, a covered space created out of a grain bin.
    The kitchenette includes a microwave, induction hot plate with appropriate cookware, 17 cubic foot fridge, toaster and French press and hot water kettle. Depending on the season, check the fridge for farm goodies.
    Go through a 1900s pocket door to the ensuite bathroom featuring a vintage mint green sink. The walk-in shower features a rain shower head, as well as soaps and shampoo for your needs! It's stocked with all the essential bath linens, as well.
    There's an attached public restroom in this unit. If you book during a time when we have an event this restroom will be open to guests.You are welcome to wander the grounds. Be mindful of your step as the ground is uneven in places and scattered with some fine organic fertilizer, chicken manure! We also have some general areas that are off-limits for safety, including the chicken coop, treehouse, brick smokehouse and windbreak in the backyard. Please be respectful. This is our home and we have small children.

    This newly updated lower-level apartment is in the basement of a lived-in home. The cute apartment space features its own private entrance with off-street parking right next to the entrance as well. The coded lock allows for convenience to come and go as you need. The space offers two bedrooms with their own closet spaces and beds, a large dining and living room space with an electric fireplace for added comfort, a full bathroom, and a kitchen complete with brand new appliances. This private basement apartment is the perfect large rental space for guests who are traveling to town for family events, long-term work, enjoyment of outdoor activities, special local events, and so much more. This newly updated space offers plenty of sleeping space for adults and children, as well as accommodating infant and toddler supplies. There are two queen beds, a double bed, a twin bed with a twin trundle bed, a futon bed, a pack-n-play, a blow-up queen mattress, available blow-up toddler beds upon request, and a couch that can accommodate any and all guests who stay. There is also a very large dining space with large table and seating for six at that table, as well as seating for four at the kitchen table. The kitchen includes brand new appliances, including a Kerig coffee maker for single cups or entire pots at a time. A few snacks, bottles of water, and coffee needs are included with the stay, as well as some extra toiletries should guests forget the essentials. For added comfort, space heaters, room fans, extra pillows and linens have also been included in the two-bedroom closets.
