For over a half century, the scientific and humanitarian achievements of Dr. Norman Borlaug, recipient of over 50 honorary Doctorate Degrees, kept starvation at bay for millions of people in third world countries. Dr. Borlaug is one of only seven people in the world to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Congressional Gold Medal, and Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The Borlaug farm is under the care of the Norman Borlaug Heritage Foundation with many volunteers who knew Norman and are passionate about telling his story and preserving his life’s work.
Norman’s Birthplace Farm and can be reached by car or walking from his Boyhood Farm.
