Friday, December 18th, 1:30-3:30pm at the Extension Office is the in-person Private Applicator Continuing Instruction Courses (P-CICs) provide Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship-Pesticide Bureau-approved training for individuals who are currently certified as a private pesticide applicator. P-CICs are offered from December 1st to April 15th each year. Applicators who choose to maintain their certification by attending an approved P-CIC must attend a program during each year their certification card covers, including the year they passed the exam (if certification occurs prior to October 1). If a P-CIC is missed in one or more years of their three-year cycle, the applicator is required to take the certification exam through IDALS to renew their certification.
