QPR Suicide Prevention Course
Tuesday, January 7th at 1:45pm is the QPR Suicide Prevention course at Regional Health Services of Howard County.
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying “Yes” to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor.
This training is FREE, but registration is required. Please visit https://tinyurl.com/RHSHCQPRJan725 to register or contact Brecka at Howard County Public Health at brecka.putnam@rhshc.com or 563-547-6343 with questions.
This program is made possible by support from Regional Health Services of Howard County and Step Up Reach Out – Suicide Awareness Walk.
